arachvulpes: Duo Maxwell (Duo Maxwell)
Last night I got back from Matsuricon, and after going to work (for only 4 hours) and coming home, I was too tired to do a post. So, all in all, was a fun time, had a bit of drama (Who doesn't at cons?) but let's break it down shall we?

Friday:
Got there, got my badge and then ran around looking at the dealers room. Bought myself a nice Deathsythe Hell Custom, and found Don (My beloved boyfriend) Gaogaigar, whole series for 40 bucks. That was a steal in my opinion >_> Afterwards, went and relaxed, and then realized, HOLY CRAP SCOTT MCNEIL'S DOING A SIGNING SOON! So I grabbed the poster I brought especially for him to sign and headed down.

Scott Mcneil is so awesome. Seriously. He let's people take pictures, hugs, and was silly and talkative through the whole thing. He saw my shirt (gundam wing) and was like "Hey I haven't seen that shirt in a long time!" We chatted a bit, he even wrote a cute quote on my poster. "I might run and hide" and added a heart <3 I told him he's pretty much just made my con. He acted all bashful and told me thanks, and it was true! He really made my con. Sadly, after that was chaos.

Friends: Don't let friends drink ALOT of alchohol at a con. It ends badly. That's pretty much what all the drama was about. Drunken stupidness. Next morning, everything was better.

Saturday:
Got up early, went and bought some more stuff at the dealers room (Some live action dvds, Distant Worlds cds, Bento box, and some cute things. Got ready for the Distant World's concert, and decided I would cosplay in a nice steampunk outfit. Problem with steampunk outfit, is it had some high heels to go with and those weren't fully broken into. The place where the concert was at had no elevators. Just a lot of stairs. So....I hurt. Alot ._. Concert was amazing though! For those of you who don't know, Distant Worlds is all Music from final fantasy, by Nobou Uematsu. Thing is Nobou was actually there! so they changed it up a bit and played some songs they don't normally play, and Don and I got excited and were talking quietly, but giddy to ourselves. Some chick 4 rows down comes up to us, and goes loudly "ARE YOU THE ONES TALKING?!" and I just stared at her, stunned. We watched her sit back down, flustered, and wondered why someone 2 rows down didn't say anything, but the 4 rows down crazy lady did. We kept quiet till intermission, where the rest of our group wondered what that was about. We told them, and watched as the woman left to go do whatever it was. After the intermission, I pointed out to Don that the woman still hadn't come back. We're pretty sure she thought the concert was over. They ended the concert by playing One Winged Angel and having the audience (That's us! :D) sing the lyrics. It was epic.

After that we went out for dinner (Course I went back to change, those heels hurt!) but first stopped at Jenni's for ice cream. That's where more chao's happened. I had some ice cream that had nuts in it, not realizing it, and started having a bad allergic reaction. We still went to dinner with my throat hurting/slightly closing, and I kept having to chug cold water to calm it down. When we got back to the hotel, I got some benadryl and that was pretty much the end of the night.

Sunday:
Got packed up, and ran around the con one last time. Nobou had a panel that morning, but we were sure that he wasn't gonna sign anything. We were wrong ._. and we felt stupid. However we're talking about going to Distant Worlds in Chicago this December, and paying the extra money to have him autograph then <3 Either way, we're over it. Headed home and relaxed...till work that it ;P

And that pretty much was my con experience. We're already working on Ohayocon 2013 stuff, so that should be fun :)
